Overview: This article provides an overview of the lancets provided in your SiPhox Health kit
The Blue Lancet is a deep penetrating lancet.
The Yellow Lancet is a shallow penetrating lancet.
We recommend that our first-time users attempt sample collection with the blue lancets (deeper penetration) to have the highest chance of success.
Only if you learn that the blue lancet provides too much blood should you transition to the yellow lancet.
Blue Lancet
Remove the protective tab by twisting the tab left or right to break the seal.
Position the lancet at the puncture site.
To activate, press the safety lancet firmly against the puncture site. Do not remove the device from the site until an audible click is heard. Do not jerk your finger away as you press the lancet.
Yellow Lancet
Remove the yellow protective tab by pulling it out of the lancet from the bottom.
Position the lancet at the puncture site.
